American Heart Associaton's Heartsaver Course 
Not to be confused with hands-only CPR,  this brief course is designed for friends and family members, community members such as teachers, coaches, office employees, DPW workers, Scout & Troop Leaders, grocery clerks, or anyone otherwise in a position where they would need to be certified in the skills of CPR & AED use. Each student will utilize an in-classroom workbook and will leave the course with a durable clamshell Pocket Face Mask for personal use. American Heart Association's "BLS" 

Formerly known as the Pre-Hospital Provider's CPR course, this instructor-led class is offered for First Responders, Emergency Medical Responders, Physicians, Nurses, Police, and all other public safety officials who have some knowledge of, training in, and reasonable exposure to the medical field. This course is ideal for nursing students and those pursuing their medical degree. The updated curriculum offers both pre-hospital scenarios and in-hospital scenarios depending on what situation is best for you. For a full description of the BLS course, click on the orange button below. Course Content: 

High-Quality CPR: Designed for Adults, Children, & Infants

   in the pre-hospital and the in-hospital scenarios. There is 

   an emphasis on Basic Life Support components and the

   use of team dynamics to navigate a CPR scene.

Use of an AED: Rescuers learn the proper technique to

   utilize the AED for adults and children in the pre-hospital

   scenarios and observe one example of in-hospital

  defibrillation during a high-quality multi-rescuer team activity. 

Effective Ventilations: Students learn how to ventilate

  their patient with a pocket face mask and a BVM.

Choking: Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for both

   adults and infants, conscious or unconscious.

National Safety Council's CPR / AED Course
Updated to reflect the current ECC standards, this course is designed for laypersons who are in search of a flexible learning atmosphere. Each student receives a CPR/AED workbook that features a personal DVD and reference guide for take-home purposes. This course is not only hands-on but is largely discussion based. Each student who successfully masters all skills taught will walk away with their nationally recognized CPR/AED certification.
